The user aims to utilize videos not merely as entertainment, but as a constructive educational tool for his children, ensuring they gain knowledge without becoming addicted to passive viewing.

The main purpose includes

1. Child-Friendly Content:
The platform is designed to offer only age-appropriate videos for children. The content is filtered to eliminate videos that might be inappropriate for younger audiences.

2. Simple Interface:
The design of BrightScreen is streamlined and intuitive, allowing children to easily navigate and find videos that interest them.

3. Parental Controls:
Parents can set up custom content settings, limit screen time, and even block certain channels or videos to ensure their children are watching suitable content.

BrightScreen emphasizes educational videos, encouraging learning while watching.

UX design in parent controls

Step 1. Begin by entering your child's name and birthday. Once entered, click Next.

Step 2. Choose your preferred daily video-watching limit for your child and select the topics you'd like them to view. Once set, click Done.

Step 3. A list of videos will appear, complete with a filter that you can adjust based on duration and video category.

Step 4. By clicking the gear icon, you'll be directed to your child's profile and content settings.

Step 5. Clicking the three dots icon gives you options: you can add the video to your child's recommended playlist or block the video. You can also restore a video if you've changed your mind.

Step 6. To watch a video, simply click on it.
